Uses of Pinealon
The pineal gland produces a 3-amino acid peptide that has neuroprotective effects. Pinealon can prevent the accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and inhibit the activation of ERK1/2. Pinealon has the ability to stimulate the functional activity of major cell components in brain tissue and reduce the level of spontaneous cell death. Pinealon protects rat offspring from prenatal high homocysteine levels.
